This thesis aims to quantify and economically evaluate the ecosystem services provided by the forest and green spaces of Parco Nord Milano, including carbon sequestration, microclimate regulation, and air quality improvement. The research will apply ecological and economic valuation models, integrating forest inventory data, field and remote sensing measurements, and environmental accounting techniques to estimate the socio-economic benefits of green space management.
